LLOYD ALEXANDER: A DOCUMENTARY examines the life and writings of one of the most beloved American children's fantasy authors. Lloyd Alexander is best known for his Chronicles of Prydain which include: "The Book of Three", "The Black Cauldron" (which was adapted into a Disney animated film in the 1980's), "The Castle of Llyr", "Taran Wanderer", and the 1969 Newbery Medal winner "The High King".  Alexander wrote 48 books over his 50+ year career, including 40 books for young people.
